Teacher in Training Program

Criteria for Assistant:

• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Have taken regular instruction for a minimum of five years in the specific discipline in which they will be assisting
• Presently taking instruction at The Studio
• Have completed 2-3 years in the Teacher in Training program
• Be selected following an interview process
• Are required to attend teaching workshops on a regular basis

Criteria for Teachers in Training:

• Must be at least 13 years of age
• Have taken regular instruction for a minimum of five years in the specific discipline in which they will be assisting
• Presently taking instruction at The Studio
• Have completed 1-2 years in the Teacher in Training program
• Be selected at the Director’s discretion, based on level of maturity and experience
• Are required to attend teaching workshops on a regular basis

Criteria for Jr. Teacher in Training:

• Must be at least 11 years of age
• Presently taking instruction at The Studio
• Have taken regular instruction for a minimum of two years in the specific discipline in which they will be assisting
• Be selected at the Director’s discretion, based on level of maturity and experience
• Are required to attend teaching workshops on a regular basis
